Bedbound

 

Fregolis debut production "Bedbound" by Enda Walsh which was performed to sell out audiences in July 07 and again in the Trim Festival of Masks in Oct 07. This is a Boutique festival taking place in Trim, Co Meath. Bedbound is an intense character drama set in a small room. The audience are taken on a ride through the half dreams, twisted bedside stories and descent into madness of a father and daughter endlessly locked in their small room. Bedbound was directed by Rob McFeely and Maria Tivnan and cast consisted of Rebecca Ryan and Shane McDermott

 

Roger Dodger

 

Roger Dodger is adapted from Dylan Kidds film of the same name. It explores the relationship between men, women, and sex in modern city life. Roger a 30 something advertising exectutive is visted by his innocent but eager nephew Nick. Nick wants help with the Ladies. Roger takes Nick under his wing on a Night on the town but what he gets neither of them bargain for. Roger Dodger. Cast included Shane McDermott, Ronan McMahon, Lucia Smyth, Maria Tivnan, Rebecaa Ryan, and Conor Finn

Tape

 

Set in real time in a seedy hotel room, we first meet Vince (Ronan McMahon) a twenty something slacker, part time drug dealer and part time fireman, who is awaiting a visit from his old school friend John (Shane McDermott) who is in town for the premiere of his small time film. This should be a happy reunion of friendship, but Vince has other plans for the evening. What transpires is an hour of tough questions, some answers and an old flame of both – Amy (Lucia Smyth) whose appearance and attitude are not what one might expect.

Maids

 

Maids is currently in production for Edinburgh Fringe Festival 08. It will show in the Roxy Art Housw in August.
